Dubai is one of the hottest, most sought after, most luxurious, most developed cities in the world. It never used to be like this. One of the major players who is responsible for the development of Dubai is Hussain Sajwani.
Hussain Sajwani is the founder and Chairman of DAMAC Properties. DAMAC is a property development company based in the United Arab Emirates. As of June 30th, 2017, Hussain Sajwani is worth $4.1 billion. He also owns a catering business that he started back in 1982, before he started dealing with property.
The DAMAC owner has done business with Donald Trump in the past. They had made plans to build two golf courses in Dubai that would be run by the Trumps. The first one was finished in February of 2017, and the second is due to be finished in 2018. Currently, Trump claims that he is not conducting any business with the Hussain Sajwani family. However the Trumps are hanging out with the Sajwani’s, which is making people suspicious that there may be business dealings going on, and that Trump may have his own personal business interests that could get in the way of properly running the United States of America. However, the Trumps and those on their side are retaliating against the accusations by saying that they are merely just friends with Sajwani family, and that just because they are friends with the Sajwani’s that doesn’t mean that they are conducting business with them. Trump invited Hussain Sajwani and his family to a New Years Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, and called them “the most beautiful people.” The Trumps and the Sajwani’s know each other on a more personal level–not just on a cold business level.
It is not new for Hussain Sajwani to hang out with very influential people. He has used his social and business acumen to develop a wide, diverse network of influential friends and business acquaintances.
